What is Scalp Micro Pigmentation?
You may have already heard of microblading or embroidery for full brows. Scalp
micropigmentation (SMP), has a similar practice, which creates the illusion of fuller hair.
SMP is a hair loss solution that involves adding small amounts of pigment to the scalp to
give the impression of growing hair follicles. It can either be used to give the impression of a
freshly shaved head or can be blended with existing hair to make thin hair appear fuller.
The goal of SMP isn’t to create hairlike lines, but instead to use tiny, layered dots in different
hues of black to replicate the look of a shadow on your scalp as of a hair follicle. This style,
referred to as pointillism, is done to create natural-looking depth and definition.
